VLF(R)-12 Vacuum Type Load Breaker Switch with Fuse
General description
VLF(R)-12 vacuum load switch and fuse composite apparatus is an independently researched & developed new generation medium voltage switch products on the basis of extensively and profoundly market research and analysis, and combined with the generality of vacuum switch at home and abroad. It adopts HV fuse which can break a wide range of short circuit fault current within 10ms and matched with vacuum load switch.It can be used in transformers control and protection of transportation, chemical industry, petroleum and living community, especially transformers in 7.2KV~330KV range area and substation used small capacity transformer control and protection, so as to achieve remote operation and monitoring.

Technical characteristics
VLF(R)-12 vacuum load switch and fuse combination apparatus adopts the three dimensional "Solidwork" software for design,
using computer simulation technology to carry out preinstallation of each scheme during designing process,which provides reliable
guarantee for the improvement of thoughts of experts and technical personnel and scheme optimization.
Modular and mold produced mechanism is with clear integral structure,beautiful,complete functions,simple operation and maintenance,
reliable running etc.
Vacuum interrupter adopts vertical arrangement, which overcomes the gravity for dynamic conductive rod and moving contact inside the vacuum interrupter when horizontally installed. Vacuum interrupter outside selects the umbrella skirt & large creepage distance type, which overcomes the effects of environment on it.For plateau type it can choose casting embedded type,so as to achieve higher external insulation performance.
Reliable striker tripping module
The striker tripping module designing can guarantee that the load switch breaks fault current with reliable after the fuse fusing.
Fuse short circuit breaking fault is generally within 10ms(half a cycle), and the breaking current can be up to 50kA,with reliable
and efficient protection for transformer.
The fuse installation, fastening and heat radiating
High-voltage fuse is as shown in the right side picture, with the specific operation method as follows:firstly loosen the fuse grip of the main insulation part,and insert the fuse into front insulation part,impacting end is the direction of mechanism, and threads & fastens the screw clockwise, then locks the grip and process is completed. To replace the fuse, firstly loosen the fuse grip of the main insulation part, and then counterclcokwise rotates the front insulation part, the process completes. When it is running, the poles have column cooling holes on top, timely eliminates the heat from fuses, which guarantees reliable electrical performance and service life of the high voltage fuse.
Energy saving and environment protecting product
VLF(R)-12 vacuum load switch is with spring energy storage type operating mechanism. When meeting short circuit faults, it can achieve protection through primary fuse and mechanism, without applying secondary power supply, so it omits the conventional power supply such as UPS, DC screen etc., which is a kind of energy saving and environment friendly product.
